The Camera is on.

I was privileged to hear Zig Ziglar in person twice. His books and tapes have also been a great source of encouragement and inspiration to me through the years.

The following story I heard him tell in person. I am re- telling it as accurately as I can remember.

"He was speaking to a group of college students in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Early on about one third of the class was sitting up attentively listening. Another third was reading news papers or doing other busy work. The final third was pretending to be asleep.

As he was speaking a camera crew from one of the local news stations came in and began to set up for news story on Zig Ziglar being in town. They came up on the stage behind Zig, camera going and flood lights on.

He said an amazing thing happened every student without fail sat up straight, straightened their clothes, combed their hair and began to listen intently.

Why? The camera was on them."









His message that day to the group that I was apart of was, " you need to live everyday as if the camera is on."

"The way to build long lasting relationship is to live with integrity, to live as if a permeant record is being made."


"In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ"

"Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops."

Be a person of integrity, the camera is on.
Be a person of truth, the camera is on.
