Pity the man

I woke up this morning singing this old song

PITY THE MAN

I GUESS WE SHOULD PITY, THOSE IN THE WORLD. WHO MUST USE THE EARTH FOR A BED. I GUESS WE SHOULD PITY, THE MAN WHO MUST TOIL. FROM DAWN TILL DUSK FOR HIS BREAD. BUT THESE CAN BE RICH, IF THEY HAVE CONTENTMENT. AND SHARING GOD'S SALVATION PLAN. BUT IF YOU KNOW ANY, WHO THO THEY HAVE PLENTY ARE LOST THEN PITY THAT MAN.

II
I GUESS THERE ARE THOSE, WHO PITY THE SAVED. AS THO THEY'RE MISSING LIFE'S BEST. FOR GETTING THAT TREASURES OF EARTH PASS AWAY AND HEAVEN'S THE PLACE TO INVEST. MEAN WHILE ASEEMING, THE MAN WHO IS SCHEMING TO HOLD ALL THE WEALTH THAT HE CAN. BUT IF HE'S NOT GIVING, TO GOD WHILE HE'S LIVING. HIS SOUL THEN PITY THAT MAN.

CHORUS
PITY THE MAN WHO HAS TREASURES TO HOLD, AND KNOWS NOT THE PEARL OF GREAT PRICE. PITY THE MAN THO HE LIVE LONG ON EARTH AND KNOWS NOT THE GIVER OF LIFE, DOCTOR OR LAWYER, TRAVELER OR MERCHANT. OR A BUILDER WHO BUILDS ON THE SAND PAUPER OR KING, TO BE SAVED IS THE THING IF HE'S LOST THEN PITY THAT MAN.

How do you kill 11,000,000 people?

How do you kill 11,000,000 people?

You lie to them!

You lie about your plans for their lives.
You lie about your generosity towards them.
You lie about your desire to provide for them.

How do a relative few enforce their will upon the masses?
They lie to them.

How do you get a man to willingly load his family into a cattle car and ride the rails to a gas chamber? You lie to him.

How do you destroy a once great nation for personnel political gain?
You lie to them!

How do you destroy a once great church?
You lie to them!

Everything that is built upon falsehood will be destroyed.

Falsehood is like a cancer that silently grows, often undetected until it is too late to remedy.

God hates every false way.

How do you kill 11,000,000 people? Is the title of a book by Andy Andrews, it is a really great read.

Except the LORD build the house,

"Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it"

Solomon said these wise words.

Gods building of our lives may not go up as fast as we would like, but it will stand the test of time.

Jesus said:

"And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it."

Building upon a foundation of false pretense and lies will never yeild a lasting structure no matter how glorious it may appear from a distance.

We build in our youth when there is an abundance of energy and resources.

The test of that structure comes as we advance in age.

What a sad telling story when a life of pretense begins to crumble and there is not enough time, energy or resources to prop it up.

Nor is there enough time to re-build upon a correct foundation.

"and it fell: and great was the fall of it"

God is not mocked, what you sow you will reap.

I am Honestly pitying an man that I have known and loved as the weight of life continues to press upon the shoddy footings of lies and deceptions.

God help me not to out build my foundation.

Pagan

You can safely assume that you've created God in your own image when it turns out that God hates all the same people you do.

Pagans create a God after their own lusts, motive and desires, so do Apostolic's.
