But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold."

" But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold."

This verse is four powerful "faith statements" married into one sentence

"He knows the way I take..." confidient trust
When he has tried me..." this is a limited time of suffering
I shall come forth..." this is a pathway out of my troubles
As gold "... " this is a pathway to better things

This road is not to destruction but to perfection.

God often uses suffering to push us out of complaciency and into greater things.

Job was saying, "This is not a dungeon this is the path he has chosen for me. "

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand."

Any place God sends you, his grace is able to keep you from falling.

Take heart, God is not unrighteous to forget you.

" But he knoweth the way that "you" take: when he hath tried "you", "you" shall come forth as gold."

Confident trust, a limited time of suffering that is pushing you to grow, and walking on a pathway that leads to better things.

"This is the day that the Lord hath made just for you."
