Happiness is a choice

Happiness is a choice. I know it may not seem like it, but it is so. How can someone who has everything in life be miserable and someone who has hardly anything can be completely happy? I comes down to what they choose.

Happiness is a choice that you must make.

Here are 3 keys to help you choose happiness.

1. Choose to live righteous.

Happiness comes from within in the sense that it is a matter of rational satisfaction with your character and actions..

I have never seen a happy person who was unfaithful to their spouse.

Happiness is a mental and moral condition.

Say to yourself, " I am happy with my character, my moral being, "

If you can not honestly say it, choose to change your character and moral being and you will become happy again.

2. Choose to be generous.

"it is more blessed to give than to receive"

Studies prove that how you feel about your job is directly related to how much you give in performance. Not the other way around. People who give the most, feel better about themselves and their work environment.

People who complain are usually those who are cutting corners, goofing off, and Stretching the day out.

Studies confirm the same facts in marriage, those who give the most have the happiest marriages.

Thus Happiness is elusive for the lazy. You are doing more than stealing from your boss and your spouse. You are stealing joy and contentment from yourselves.

3. Choose to be grateful

If your happy with God, how can you be unhappy with your life?

Often the lack of joy we feel is when we compare ourselves to someone else.

When your happiness is based upon your world measuring up to someone else's, you are setting yourself up for disappointment and despair.

"All thing work together for good,..."

" the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord"

"God does know the path that I take, and when He has tried me I shall come forth as pure Gold."

Choose to see the fingerprints of God, and you will be happy.

Life happiness is the result of full trust and confidence in ones God and his ability to direct your steps.

Choose to trust God and you will be happy.

All of us want to be happy. You must choose to be happy instead of waiting around for it to suddenly appear out of nowhere one day and land in your lap.

Gumdrops do not fall from the sky.

Shrug off laziness and despair. God created you to be happy

It’s all up to you.

Enjoy – or not- it’s your choice.
