A picture of Grace,

A picture of Grace, - The harlot Rahab and her family, walking out of the ruble that was once Jericho.

I will some day paint this picture,

A young woman standing in the ruble, the scarlet cord wound up in one hand - a token of a promise

Her aged parents standing behind her, fearful, apprehensive ... Following this daughter who had caused them so much pain.

Anxiety mingled with Hope ...

Rahab, was welcome, wanted, and assimilated into the nation of Israel.
So much so, that she became part of the linage of the future Messiah.

Israel was evangelistic, welcoming, non condemning ...

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

Rehab was the most unlikely convert. She was not worthy, she was not good, she was a great sinner...

The story of Rahab is a perfect analogy for your life, it is the story of mine.

What a perfect picture of Grace.
